With over 25 years of HR leadership experience, Robin has cultivated a versatile background in building and executing global programs “from the ground up” in the areas of Organizational Change, Leadership Development, Team Effectiveness, Employee Relations and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

 

She has a proven career track record and passion for being a trusted HR advisor and transformative coach to senior global leaders in a variety of industries including high tech, financial services, healthcare, and non-profit. In her most recent internal role as Head of Management Development at VMware, Robin redefined and implemented an integrated persona-based development framework for a global community of 4500+ people managers and leaders.

 

One of Robin’s biggest strengths is her ability to integrate HR practices effectively, fairly, and innovatively into the business culture. She is well versed in leading-edge research-based frameworks grounded in neuroscience, positive psychology and positive organizational scholarship that support leaders in unearthing, understanding, and optimizing the hidden potential within themselves, their organizations, and the workforce. She has a bias for action and specializes in identifying root issues and creating practical solutions that contribute to high performance and organizational excellence.

 

Robin is best known and respected for her unique way of bringing out the best in others through honesty, good humor, creativity, and collaboration.  Her dedication and enthusiasm are contagious, and she engenders a mutual commitment from her clients to “show up” fully present and available to address their development goals with intention and vigor. In addition to her consultancy, Robin educates and inspires emerging and developing leaders as an adjunct professor in the Ageno School of Business at Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

 

Robin is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Transformative Studies graduate program at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her qualitative research study will explore love as an imperative character strength for 21stcentury leaders. Robin also holds an M.A. in Transformative Leadership from the same institution, a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay, a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from New Ventures West, a certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from The Flourishing Center and is a certified HorseDreamUSA equine-guided leadership development facilitator.  She is a Bay Area native and, in her leisure, loves teaching as an adjunct professor, traveling, taking long drives and spending quality time with friends and family.
